I was an SM on USS Thach from 1986-1990, and supply for the division. I had to get a good coffee maker that would last all the rocking and rolling of being at sea for an over 6 month deployment. The best roll i saw was 48 degrees & 28 degree pitch. B&D was the brand. It basically ran for 6 months, without stopping. We had to supply coffee to the whole pilot house. Within a week of pulling back into San Diego it shorted out. Longer and harder than any home use. Best coffee maker ever!!!
